Sr. Staff Accountant

Senior Staff Accountant – South America

Live Nation Entertainment, a leading live entertainment company, seeks a Senior Staff Accountant for the South America division, focusing on the Argentina market. The role manages accounting and financial operations, overseeing month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, ensuring compliance with SOX and US GAAP, and leading special or ad hoc projects.

• Ensure South America financials comply with US GAAP, company procedures, and SOX.
• Prepare and enter month‑end journal entries.
• Reconcile Latin America event P&Ls and Show Settlements.
• Assist local South America teams with Corporate Reporting – monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliation to third‑party Latin America systems.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain, control, and reconcile complex accounts.
• Assist with quarterly reporting and special projects.
• Maintain and reconcile monthly eliminations of IFRS adjustments.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analyses for executive management.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting (required).
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• 3‑5 years related work experience, preferably Big 4 audit experience; prior entertainment experience a plus.
• Experience working with South America, specifically Argentina, preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – advanced Excel.
• Oracle and SAP experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
