Our client, a well-established CPA firm located in Blue Lagoon, Miami, is seeking a Tax Preparer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is looking to build hands-on experience in a professional and client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual (1040) and partnership (1065) tax returns
• Assist with gathering and analyzing financial information to ensure accurate tax filings
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and compliance requirements
• Communicate with clients to obtain documentation and answer basic tax-related questions
• Collaborate with senior staff and partners during busy season to ensure deadlines are met
• Perform general accounting duties as needed to support the team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
• 1 to 2 years of experience preparing individual and/or partnership tax returns
• Familiarity with tax preparation software (e.g., Ultra Tax, Pro Series, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work fully on-site at the firm’s Blue Lagoon office
