Position:
Controller Home Improvement & Construction (English/Spanish)
Oversee our financial operations and work directly with the CEO. This role manages a small team (2 direct reports) and is responsible for all financial reporting, compliance, payroll, and budgeting activities.
Must Have- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
- Home Improvement or Construction Experience
- Lead and manage accounting team (2 direct reports)
- Handle A/P, A/R, payroll, cash flow and insurance compliance
- Prepare financial statements and month-end reports
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- IRS and tax compliance
- Analyze financial data and recommend improvements
- Support management with payroll and financial questions
- Implement new processes and improve efficiency
- Inform CEO on all important financial and tax matters
- 10+ years accounting experience and 5+ years in Financial Management (Construction or Home Improvement required)
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with multi-location operations
- Strong payroll, insurance, and job-cost accounting experience
- Hands-on leadership style and strong problem-solving abilities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
