AboutThe Role
The Cafeteria Attendant Assist in preparation and service of food items for Employee Dining Room in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
What You Will Do- Prepare set-up and salad bar items; set-up hotline with food retrieved from kitchen.
- Maintain the cleanliness of cafeteria kitchen and seating areas; restock condiments and paper goods as necessary.
- Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, ensuring perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages; return all food items not used to designated storage areas, covering/dating all perishables; assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems;
control food waste, loss and usage per policies. - Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using a dish machine.
- Maintain the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities.
- Maintain the silver polishing.
