Server​/Waiter​/Waitress

Overview

The mission of LDV Hospitality is to bring La Dolce Vita, 'the good life' to all of our guests by providing authentic and charming hospitality experiences through our collection of extraordinary people and hospitality concepts.

• Serves guests by assisting with food and beverage selections, ringing in and monitoring orders, maintaining dining ambiance and overall cleanliness and presentation of the space.
• Maintains a working knowledge of full food and drink menu.
• Describe various food dishes to customers.
• Uses LDV standards of engagement for all service techniques.
• Checks with guests regularly during dining experience to confirm satisfaction.
• Provides guest check promptly and returns receipt promptly.
• Keeps all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assists bus server in clearing and pre-bussing whenever possible.
• Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact, respectable conversation and smiling.
• Comfortable working in kitchen assisting with plating & serving as needed.
• Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials.
• Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by the Department of Health (DOH).
• Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol.
• Perform other related activities as assigned by management.

• 2+ years experience as a Server in a similar caliber establishment.
• Deliver timely and courteous service to LDV Hospitality guests in adherence to our company policies and procedures.
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Maintain friendly, helpful and positive attitude at all times.
• Strong customer service background.
• Ability to have an outgoing, friendly disposition for guest relations.
• Working knowledge of the full food and drink menu.
• Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards.
• Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times.
• Attendance to company meetings and training seminars as required.
• Responsible for training and developing new employees to LDV Hospitality’s standards of service.
• Adherence to company uniform and grooming policies.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to all HR policies and procedures.

High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.

• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand and perform extensive walking for 8-10 hours a day.

Ability to withstand a high volume of business and the movement, noise and temperature extremes associated with that volume.
