Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team at Grand Beach Hotel Surfside in SURFS. As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front desk, providing exceptional customer service to our guests, and managing a team of front desk agents. Your main goal will be to ensure that our guests have a positive and memorable experience during their stay with us.
You will work closely with the Front Office Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a hotel front office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with revenue management and forecasting
- Fluency in a second language
- Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA)
- OPERA experience
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Train and develop front desk agents, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
- Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest information, room availability, and financial transactions
Skills:
As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. You will also use your strong leadership and team management skills to supervise and train front desk agents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software will be essential for maintaining accurate records and reports. Additionally, experience with revenue management and forecasting, fluency in a second language, and certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) will be beneficial for this role.
