The Role… A reliable and friendly Room Attendant will provide superb customer service to our guests. Your duties will include ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard. You should also be able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner.
To be a successful Room Attendant, you must be honest, organized, dependable and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures, and be passionate about creating and tidy spaces with a great can‑do attitude!
Main Duties- To ensure cleanliness of guest, deep cleaning rooms on the daily basis, ensure all linen is changed on the daily basis.
- Removing of all linen and trash from the room. Cleaning of bathrooms and disinfecting.
- Replacing all used amenities after every guest Departure.
- Prepare bed and with linen, ensure linen is free of stain and or rips.
- Reporting of any defects in a guest room and or thru out the hotel.
- Vacuum every room. Sweep and mop daily.
- Understanding and knowledge of property amenities.
- Assisting guests as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Basic verbal communication skills.
- Flexible schedule.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to make periodical fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the property to others.
- Must be able to move, pull, push, carry or lift at least 30 pounds.
- Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required.
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
