We’re Looking for a Sales & Events Manager Responsibilities- The Sales & Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for leading all sales-related functions previously assigned to the Sales Manager role while also supporting guest relations responsibilities traditionally overseen by the Front Desk Manager. This role focuses on revenue generation, account management, group and event sales, and elevated guest experience oversight.
- Execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and occupancy targets based on Sales Director and Revenue Team guidance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and key stakeholders.
- Manage key accounts, establish growth strategies, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Conduct site visits and presentations to secure group bookings and corporate accounts.
- Welcome and manage all in-house groups in our automated properties for upstanding check in delivery.
- Add, verify and manage group reservations in the PMS.
- Close groups upon departure and manage rooming lists and house balances.
- Create invoices, collect payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Create resumes and communicate event and group details to internal teams.
- Support guest relations initiatives in coordination with Front Desk leadership.
- Address guest complaints and act as Manager on Duty as needed.
- Monitor guest feedback platforms (Review Pro, Trip Advisor, guest alerts) and respond when required.
- Participate actively in front desk up-selling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Collaborate & Coverage:
Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Reservations, Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation as needed.
- Provide in-person support at the property when required, including guest assistance, basic troubleshooting for kiosks, and coordination with on-site vendors.
- During the absence of the Reservation & Guest Services Supervisor, provide coverage for critical guest service, reservation, and operational needs as required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two (2) years of management experience in selling hotels, meeting rooms, co-working or any other hospitality environment.
- Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation with a proven track record of living the company's values.
- An intermediate to proficient understanding of computer systems such as Open Table, Lightspeed, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is preferred.
- Ability to spend extended lengths of time viewing a computer screen.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast‑paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail.
- Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
- Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
- Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
This position requires full availability during mornings and afternoons, shift of 8 hours could be arranged between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
