PositionResponsibilities
- Completes all transport tasks within designated time frames and accurately checks in and out of the patient transport system, ensuring the correct pager number is entered at the start of each shift.
- Maintains a positive, respectful attitude while interacting with patients during transport, ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Utilizes proper body mechanics when assisting with patient movement, including lifting, turning, and positioning.
- Introduces themselves to the patient, providing clear information about their transport destination.
- CPR required or must be obtained while in training.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
