About Border Haul Border Haul is a fast-growing technology platform built to simplify cross-border freight. We connect shippers and carriers across the U.S.–Mexico border, making booking, tracking, and delivery seamless. Our team is expanding in Laredo, the nation's busiest inland port, and we're looking for driven sales professionals who thrive in logistics.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Account Managers / Sales Representatives to lead shipper acquisition in the Laredo market. This role is all about hunting, building relationships, and closing new businesses with logistics companies, freight forwarders, and trucking companies and customs brokers who move cross-border loads. You'll be on the ground, in the market, and on the phone, directly contributing to Border Haul's growth.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, call, and visit logistics companies, freight forwarders, and shippers in the Laredo region.
Educate potential clients on Border Haul's platform and services.
Drive new shipper sign-ups and bookings through proactive sales activity.
Develop and manage strong customer relationships to increase retention and repeat business.
Identify customer needs and work with operations and product teams to ensure solutions.
Track sales pipeline, report progress, and meet/exceed monthly targets.
Represent Border Haul at local logistics events, networking groups, and industry meetups.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in cross-border logistics, freight forwarding, or trucking sales.
Proven track record in sales and account acquisition.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (bilingual English/Spanish preferred).
Self-motivated, persistent, and comfortable with both cold outreach and face-to-face selling.
