Position:
Logistics transportation assistant
The Logistics Transportation Assistant supports daily logistics and transportation operations by coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role ensures timely movement of goods while assisting with communication between drivers, carriers, and internal teams.

- Engineering, International Relations, Commercial Trade, Foreign Trade , BA or any major related
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification, and trade compliance programs.

Experience with automotive parts, bills of materials (BOMs), and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and customs management software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
VISA and Valid Passport Requirement
English conversational skills proficient- MUST

Internship or academic projects related to logistics, supply chain, or international trade are a plus.
Experience supporting shipment tracking, documentation control, or coordination with carriers is desirable but not required.
Basic exposure to import/export operations or customs processes is an advantage.
Experience using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, for tracking and reporting activities.

This position reports to a Traffic logistics Engineer
Automotive, forwarder or Logistics transportation industry expertise it´s a must for this position.
It’s difficult to access to the Plant- for this reason it´s important that the candidate must have her/ his own transportation or another alternative to get to this site.
Nowadays the company is unable to give support relocation- for foreign candidates

Experience minimum 1-2 years in automotive industry, forwarder or Logistics transportation industry as :
Maintain accurate and up-to-date transportation and logistics files, ensuring proper document control and compliance with internal procedures.
Track operational shipments daily, providing status updates and ensuring timely deliveries.
Coordinate closely with the logistics team, carriers, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure smooth transportation and import operations.
Monitor and control unit arrivals at the warehouse, confirming schedules and reporting any delays or discrepancies.
Support route planning activities to optimize transportation efficiency and delivery times.
Prepare and send shipment pre-alerts to internal teams and external partners.
Update logistics portals and internal systems with shipment and operational information.
Conduct weekly file reviews and updates to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the preparation and control of logistics and import documentation.
Update and maintain internal logistics manuals and procedures as needed.
Control and reconcile logistics expenses, supporting cost tracking and analysis.
