POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure. They collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs. This role also troubleshoots and resolves network issues, performs network capacity planning, and stays up to date with emerging technologies and industry needs to continuously improve network performance and security. Responsible to provide technical support to end-users visiting in person the plants/offices or remotely.

This role involves configuring, installing and maintaining SDWAN solutions, Firewalls, VPNs, LAN, Wireless, managing core network services, performing hardware replacements, and supporting day-to-day network operations across office and CoLo data center environments
SKILLS /

EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
5 - 7 years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, IPAM, NTP, NAC, routing, switching, load balancers, etc.)
Strong experience with Cisco SDWAN solution, Fortinet and Cisco Firewalls and WAFs, Cisco and Fortinet VPN, Cisco switches/routers, Aruba Wireless access points and controllers, Azure cloud networking, Clear Pass NAC, F5 load balancers, network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Adept in network troubleshooting and performance optimization
Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Logic Monitor, Wireshark, IPAM Blue Cat)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading comprehension)
Easy access to the work center located in Caujimalpa, CDMX, open to work 2 days from home per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement complex enterprise SDWAN, Firewalls, VPN, LAN, Wireless, Load Balancers solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in person or remotely using ITIL methodology
Perform network maintenance and upgrades in person or remotely by conducting rack-and-stack, configuration, cabling and RMAs
Ensure IT/OT network security and compliance
Provide technical support to end-users and participate in on-call rotation for network support
Participate in network planning and budgeting
Assist in the development of network policies, SOPs, network diagrams and maintain an accurate CMDB inventory.
Monitor network performance and capacity
