The Manager, Human Resources, is responsible for leading and administering all aspects of the Human Resources function. This includes policy development, recruitment, compensation, employee relations, training, compliance, and operational support. The role ensures HR initiatives align with company goals, fosters a positive work environment, and supports continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
Recommend, develop, and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs for employment, recruitment, wage and salary administration, employee counseling, training, and development.
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, internal work regulations, and applicable labor laws.
Manage the recruitment process: interview candidates, coach hiring managers, verify references, prepare offer letters, and conduct new hire orientation.
Administer performance review processes to ensure effectiveness and compliance with company guidelines.
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on work-related issues;
Lead career development and succession planning programs.
Conduct research into HR programs and recommend changes or innovations for continuous improvement.
Supervise and coordinate HR staff and activities, ensuring effective operation of the Quality Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
Oversee training programs, ensuring timely and effective delivery and compliance with training requirements.
Monitor contract expirations, manage dormitory and cafeteria operations (where applicable), and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
Prepare and analyze HR reports (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, population, department performance).
Bachelor’s degree is required, concentration in Human Resources Management is preferred.
Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years at a managerial level.
Experience with labor contract and employment law.
Experience in organization development and change management preferred.
Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Work is performed in both office and manufacturing plant environments, with occasional exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
