CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of   Internal Communications Analyst   to work in the Engagement chapter.

The positions will be based at CIMMYT’s headquarters in Texcoco, near Mexico City.

Specific duties:

Strategic Planning & Execution
Maintain internal communications channels (intranet/Inside CIMMYT, email distribution lists, digital signage, etc.), ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and accessible.
Coordinate internal communication tools and events, including townhalls, newsletters, and intranet updates.
Execute internal communication campaigns that connect CIMMYT staff worldwide, contributing to engagement and retention.
Develop and maintain content for newsletters, intranet, emails, and other platforms by collaborating with teams to gather stories and updates.
Support change management initiatives through effective communication plans and materials.
Evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives and events, analyze feedback, and recommend improvements.
Promote CIMMYT’s mission, values, and organizational culture through communication efforts and staff events.
Lead the creation of CIMMYT’s annual report, including proposing format, theme, and design to amplify impact.
Organize and execute staff events such as Get Together, - Catalyst of Change, and other internal activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
Proven experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or similar roles.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
