Industrial Quality Engineer

We are currently looking for a Process Engineer with profficiency in  English for our Factory in Ciudad Obregón - Mexico.

About the Role

JOB PURPOSE:

Maintain and lead advanced coating processes for polymeric ophthalmic lenses manufacturing, managing and leading engineers and technicians.
Capable of working independently on complex projects, using advanced judgment in evaluating, selecting, and significantly adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Equipped to troubleshoot production issues, take corrective actions, and lead improvement efforts on equipment and processes.
Apply their expertise in the product development cycle to implement and develop effective processes which ensure low waste while meeting internal standards
Analyze current manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement quality-driven changes to enhance product consistency and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS/MS in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
Minimum 6 years of previous process development experience preferred.
Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others in pursuit of solutions
An interest and curiosity in all aspects of technology and discovery.
Attentive to detail
Experience in all aspects of the New Product Development Cycle.
Project delivery track record
Quality/Customer focused
Can-do/Results count attitude
Ability to read, write, and converse in English
