Continuous Improvement Engineer (Automotive Industry)
The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, product quality, safety, and operational efficiency within the automotive environment. This role focuses on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies to drive cost reduction and performance improvements.

- Industrial Engineering or any major related
English conversational skills proficient- MUST
Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
The candidate is required to have at least three years of prior experience as a Manufacturing Engineer  .

Experience with automotive production systems.
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.
Project management experience.

This position reports to a Engineering Manager
It’s difficult to access to the Plant- for this reason it´s important that the candidate must have her/ his own transportation or another alternative to get to this site.
Nowadays the company is unable to give support relocation- for foreign candidates

Experience minimum 4 years in automotive industry, as Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineer or CI Engineer-  The candidate is required to have at least three years of prior experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in automotive industry:

Identify, analyze, and implement continuous improvement opportunities across manufacturing and support processes.
Lead Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools (5S, VSM, SMED, SPC, root cause analysis, PDCA, DMAIC).
Monitor and analyze KPIs related to productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
Support problem-solving activities for quality issues, scrap reduction, and customer complaints.
Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and engineering teams.
