Field Services Engineer

Location: Centro Tular Primera Sección

Field Service Engineer will report to the Field Service Manager located remotely. This role will provide support to customers for installations, repairs, and training. The ideal candidate will be technically oriented and love to travel. Exceeding customer expectations is the primary responsibility of all personnel within the department.

Key Responsibilities
Install, repair and train customers on Welding Automation equipment.
Perform system startup, calibration and functional testing.
Diagnose equipment issues by applying knowledge of electronic devices operation; identify root causes and perform necessary repairs.
Prepare detailed technical reports documenting malfunctions, corrective actions, and deviations from design specifications.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on customers' machines.
Represent the company with positive, professional image at all times.
Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, technicians, and production personnel to resolve technical issues.
Assists in training other Field Service Engineers as needed.
Make timely travel arrangements to meet customer scheduling requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or 2-3 years of related experience; and equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience with welding automation equipment a plus.
Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals and applicable regulations.
Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare business correspondence, reports, and procedural instructions.
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to questions from customers, distributors, team members, and management.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
"Optional" Industrial Welding Knowledge.
Able to travel frequently domestically, with occasional international travel
