This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:  Acts as a technical lead, approves design deliverables and  reviews all project documents for conformity, safety, and quality assurance.
Works with the customer to shape and deliver solutions and seeks customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
Participates in project meetings and resolves any outstanding technical issues to meet contractual obligations.
Performs Project Peer-Reviews.
Utilizes checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Qualifications for the role   Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical-electrical engineering.
2-3 years experience in 3D mechanical design.
Design software proficiency in Creo is required (Solid works sheet metal, and AutoCAD proficiency preferred)
Excel (Macros) proficiency
SAP Proficiency
Advanced English
