We are seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to join a global leader in the apparel and footwear industry. This role will be 100% on-site at our Distribution Center located in Tepotzotlán, Estado de México.

Position
Purpose:
This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a multi-brand Distribution Center in Mexico. The primary objectives are to ensure accurate inventory control, meet service level agreements (SLAs) for wholesale and retail customers, maintain cost efficiency, provide a safe work environment, and uphold quality standards. The position requires close coordination with internal teams and support for brand operations.
Departments under responsibility:
Inventory, Quality, DC Processing, Outbound Logistics, and internal fleet management.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management:
Oversee daily distribution center activities to ensure SLA compliance and operational excellence.
- Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate internal audits.
- Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to corporate safety standards, ergonomics, housekeeping, and emergency procedures.
- Team Leadership:
Plan staffing needs, manage hiring, training, and development of operational teams.
- Performance Monitoring:
Track and report operational KPIs (productivity, delivery times, cost control) on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Process Improvement:
Identify and implement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Maintain effective communication with Operations and Finance teams to align processes and budgets.
Job Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience:
Minimum 5 years in logistics or distribution operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
· English proficiency (spoken, written and read).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as PKMS, Protheus, or SAP preferred.
- Familiarity with RF technologies.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop operational teams to improve performance and achieve goals.
- Ability to plan and prioritize daily and weekly activities to meet service levels.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Computer proficiency, including job-related applications and MS Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and assignments in a timely manner.

Preferred:
- Experience participating in process improvement projects.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma is a plus).
