Descripción del trabajo
Responsibilities: Analyze and manage the plant’s financial information to deliver accurate, timely, and value-added insights that support cost optimization, profitability improvement, and strategic decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial information related to monthly closings, including the identification and explanation of variances versus budget and the evaluation of performance trends compared to prior periods.
Develop, analyze, and present key financial and operational indicators, as well as plant performance reports for divisional and corporate stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain accounting and statistical records, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
Consolidate and analyze monthly Scorecard variances, identifying key drivers and areas of concern.
Prepare and update the plant’s weekly financial forecast.
Lead the annual plant budgeting process, including coordination, consolidation, and ongoing performance monitoring against budget.
Coordinate and oversee the plant’s scrap management process, ensuring proper tracking, reporting, and analysis of material waste and losses.
Develop financial analyses to support new product introductions (NPI), business cases, capital investment requests, and other strategic initiatives.
Prepare and analyze the plant productivity report, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
Provide financial information, analysis, and documentation to support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and timelines.
Ensure full compliance with all company policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvement initiatives, and provide financial recommendations to support their implementation.
Qualifications
~ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
~+5 years' financial analysis and modeling experience
~ Advanced knowledge of Excel
