Production Superintendent

Location: Centro Tular Primera Sección

Responsibilities    Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at all times. Promote and drive a strong safety culture.
Ensure production plans are met within established quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Coordinate and supervise the activities of production supervisors and their operational staff.
Guarantee the proper availability and use of materials for production execution.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment in collaboration with the Maintenance Department.
Implement strategies to reduce waste and optimize production processes.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards within the production area.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities.
Motivate and develop direct reports, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Manage training and certification processes for operational personnel under supervision.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, and Maintenance departments to ensure efficient operational flow.
Supervise the proper execution of continuous improvement projects in production.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 6S.
Promote a continuous improvement culture within the team by encouraging the identification and implementation of optimization opportunities.
Periodically evaluate production plans and implement corrective and preventive actions to increase efficiency and productivity.
Review and approve production plans, ensuring feasibility and compliance.
Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (8D, CAPA, among others).
Analyze and manage production costs, seeking operational efficiency.
Prepare production reports and present results to management.
Implement and maintain visual controls on the production floor.
Lead Tier meetings and Gemba walks with the team.
Ensure compliance with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic, Manufacturing, or similar).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production supervision or coordination roles.
80% English proficiency (Intermediate-Advanced level).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving goals.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of industrial safety and quality standards.
Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
