Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Role:
Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)Location: Doncaster (Mexborough)Salary: £48,000 (£52,800 with bonus)Shifts: 4 on 4 off - 2 Days 2 Nights Industry: Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine scheduled PPMs (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and respond promptly to equipment faults and breakdowns, ensuring all tasks are documented.

• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery, gaining in-depth knowledge to train other team members effectively.

• Diagnose breakdowns and apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve issues effectively.

• Fit new parts as needed and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly post-maintenance.

• Handle emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs, as well as support new installations.

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ-based) or higher in Mechanical Maintenance.

• Strong understanding and knowledge of health and safety protocols.
