Overview
Chef needed for school food service program in the Metuchen, NJ area. Must have chef experience, K-12 culinay preferred. Full time 7 hours daily. Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities- Prepare all catering events for the school. Some travel may be involved.
- Able to work an occasional catering on a week night and weekend.
- Will provide training to the staff on compliance,presentation, and food quailty.
- Partially responsible for inventory and food orders.
- Strong attention to detail, and is creative with both presentation and new memu ideas. Must be able to pass a chef test.
- Must be able to obtain proper ducumentation to work in schools.
- Serv Safe® manager certificate.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
