Our client, Metalcrafters is seeking a QC Inspector to join their team. As a QC Inspector you will ensure product meets the Customer requirements defined by drawings, inspection lists and visual specifications. This position requires strong analytic ability, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Precision Sheet Metal Manufacturing QC Inspector
Job Summary . This position ensures our product meets the Customer requirements defined by drawings, inspection lists and visual specifications. This position requires strong analytic ability, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Interpret customer specifications
• Assess RMA’s for disposition
• Manage the RMA disposition
• Disposition non-conforming material into the DMR database.
• Create RMA work orders for repair or remake
• Maintain RMA database
• Visually and dimensionally Inspect sheet metal parts for approval
• Help resolved manufacturing quality concerns
• Maintain quality reporting for the Business Review Team
• Use Solid Works to provide information to departments
• Perform dimensional inspections on machined components
• Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records
• Participate in the corrective/preventive action program
Must Have Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience inspecting sheet metal and or machined parts
• Ability to read/understand specifications on prints. Print reading abilities must be at a high level
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. GD&T must ne at a high level
• Experience using calipers, micrometers and height gauges
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with Excel
