CNA / HHA (Mental Health Services) – Vinfen
Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000
Responsibilities- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toile(source beginning of lines), feeding课程 management, medication administration, and wound care, following the Medication Administration Program (MAP) and individual treatment plans.
- Monitor and observe individuals served for changesდეҴ physical, suhmental, emotional status and report to supervisory staff.
- Provide nutrition support, including meal planning and assistance with eating.
- Teach and support individuals in completing ADLs and household tasks, using effective communication and coaching techniques.
- Conduct fire and safety training, document attendance, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Transport individuals to medical, dental, and other appointments as directed by the shift/program manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for individuals, families, and staff, including general housekeeping and disposal of waste.
- Document nursing care and services in accordance with Vinfen policies and regulatory requirements.
- Follow incident reporting and medication error protocols; maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and other Vinfen staff; provide updates on client status as directed.
- Operate assistive and medical equipment safely, including wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, glucometers, nebulizers, and oxygen equipment.
- Encourage participation in home/program and community events; promote choice and self‑advocacy.
- Act as a liaison and collaborator with Vinfen departmentse agencies and community providers.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and community meetings; serve as a positive role model.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff and comply with all Vinfen policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Competency as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Knowledge of brain injury, mental health, and behavioral health challenges.
- Ability to communicate accurately, both verbally and in documentation.
- Sensitivity to cultural, religious, ethnic, disability, and gender issues.
- Understanding of human, legal, civil rights, and community resources.
- Proficiency with personal computer applications and equipment.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and make independent judgments.
- Professional and confidential approach to client care.

- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in a human services discipline preferred).
- One to two years of experience in a human services setting preferred.
- Preference for bilingual/bicultural applicants and individuals with lived experience of psychiatric conditions.
Driving is required for this position using either a Vinfen vehicle or a personal vehicle. Candidates must provide a valid driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years of age. A personal vehicle must carry adequate insurance; drivers must pass annual safety checks.
Physical EffortAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift at least 25 pounds using proper technique, use a computer, and assist individuals with daily tasks. Must comply with safety and vision requirements governing the role.
Additional Certifications- CPR – required within two weeks of hire.
- First Aid – required within two weeks of hire.
- MAP – required within 150 days of hire.
USD $24.15 per hour.
