Direct Support Professional II - Asleep Overnight Overview

Seven Hills Community Services, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, is hiring a Direct Support Professional II for Asleep Overnight positions. The role acts as a caregiver for individuals with intellectual disability, developmental disability, or acquired brain injury. Customer service, administrative skills, and compassion are key traits.

Pay: $20.50/hr for awake hours (additional $1/hr differential for active MAP certification); $17.50/hr for asleep hours (no differential).

Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day services to program participants, including bathing, toileting, and oral hygiene.
  • Assist and/or teach individuals with household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, and increasing independence.
  • Accompany individuals on appointments.
  • Administer medications or support self‑medication per residential guidelines.
  • Follow individual routines, behavior support plans, personal care, physical therapy, etc.
  • Participate in a 5‑day new employee orientation and receive training on CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, and MAP.
  • Receive program‑specific training at the work site.
Qualifications
  • Age 18+.
  • High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
  • 1‑3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required (paid training provided if needed).

  • Commitment to assisting people with disabilities to participate fully in their community and personal lives.
  • Varied interests and personal connections in the local community.
  • Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
  • Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of your team.
