Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies, ensuring long-term sustainability and organizational growth.
- Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets, monitoring expenditures and analyzing variances to optimize resources.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings and grant reporting requirements.
- Direct core accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with external partners, including auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies, to maintain strong financial relationships.
- Supervise patient accounting and revenue cycle operations, ensuring timely billing, reimbursement, and collections.
- Implement and monitor financial systems and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting.
- Manage and develop Finance and Patient Accounts teams, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance financial operations and organizational policies. Requirements - Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee and develop cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in managing compliance with regulatory and grant-related financial requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
- Knowledge of patient accounts, revenue cycle operations, and reimbursement practices.
- Familiarity with health insurance policies and financial systems in healthcare environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decision-making.
