Now, they’re looking for a Staff Accountant II to join their high‑performing Finance team. This hybrid role is based at the company’s headquarters in Methuen, Massachusetts.
🧩 The RoleAs Staff Accountant II
, you’ll be at the heart of financial operations – supporting month‑end close, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial statements, and driving process improvements. You’ll work closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams, providing the insights and accuracy that keep the business running smoothly. This role is perfect for a detail‑oriented professional ready to take ownership of their work and shine in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities with precision
- Post and reconcile accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset entries
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and analyze income statement variances
- Support internal and external audits with thorough documentation
- Partner with Sales and Operations on billing, collections, and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare AR aging and other key management reports
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, cash application, and billing efficiency
- Champion compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in fast‑paced or high‑volume environments
- Strong grasp of general accounting principles and attention to detail
- Excel wizardry and comfort managing multiple priorities
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and drive results
- Revenue recognition knowledge is a plus
