Overview

As an Aquatics Leader you are responsible for leading our swim lesson and recreational team instructor team. On the dry side, you will oversee swim lesson + rec teachers schedules to make sure all classes are covered. You will also work with the team manager to manage swim classes moves, additions and cancellation requests via our registration system. In the water, you will be responsible for teaching a minimum a minimum of 4 swim lesson classes per week and being the first substitute for a recreational team or swim lesson staff absence.

In teaching you will be utilizing our child centered procedures and methods. You will be an integral part of our admin and coaching team, having an impact on staff and class management, growth and development of the team, safety and community outreach. You should be someone who has a passion for the water and working with children while also being highly organized, dependable and open to feedback.

As an aquatics leader you will report to the General Manager or Owner during shifts and provide support throughout the pool deck as needed and may have to teach swim lessons from time to time.

We have a fun and rewarding work environment with a great atmosphere for someone who loves families and being around people. We offer paid training. Starting wage is negotiable with prior experience. This is a full-time position that requires afternoon/evening and weekend shifts.

Compensation: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
