How will you do it
We are looking for skilled HVAC Technicians who have experience with air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, Industrial chillers, AHU s or large roof top ducted units. Preferred experience in Industrial Petro-Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Data Center vertical environments. We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with recognition, monetary rewards, and advancement. Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide solutions and outcomes at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
What we look forRequired
- Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business.
- Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of practical working experience on air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHU s or large roof top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience. Lead large complex repairs, jobs or retrofits.
- Recognized as a Leader by peers, coaching and mentoring within the branch. Escalation points on technical issues and on-the-job training for other Mechanics.
- Escalation points from the branch to the Product Technical Support (PTS) teams for critical issues. Viewed as an expert in a field by both employees and customers.
- Assists management with ensuring proper field operational disciplines of other Technicians are followed.
- Regularly provides input on development and training needs of the branch.
- Provides consultant level services for customers related to building system and/or product repairs and enhancements.
- Ensures ultimate customer satisfaction levels with assigned customers.
- Conducts self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency. Completes all training and certifications as required by the company.
- Communicates with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction; meets regularly with customers to understand operating problems and keep them informed on service provided, outstanding issues, and recommended system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.
- Manages assigned work to meet a professional level of execution, on-time and to customer satisfaction.
- Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, absorption chillers, screw chillers and/or ammonia/hydrocarbon system components.
- Maintain ammonia and hydrocarbon safety training certification.
- Extensive experience in HVAC systems (Chilled water loops, Pumping, Compressor enthalpy, Compressor troubleshooting and rebuild).
- Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators, lasers, etc. of pumps, fans, compressors.
- Able to use vibration equipment to troubleshoot compressor drive lines.
