Assistant Store Supervisor
Job Purpose: The Assistant Store Supervisor is responsible for expediting shipments of parts sent and returned from or to XL Parts/The Parts House distribution center(s).
Key Responsibilities- Shipping and receiving of merchandise
- Assemble and fill customer orders to be delivered within a 45 minute window
- Inventory and cycle counts
- Schedule contract drivers based on company business needs
- Answer customer questions and address complaints
- Store opening and closing duties
- Handle cash, cash counts, and deposits
- Stock and pull parts
- Answer phones
- Keep store and front counter clean
- Keep warehouse clean and provide a safe work environment
- High School Degree or GED
- 1 to 2 years of working in a retail environment
- Highly motivated to provide superb customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen

Environmental/Occupational Health andPhysical Requirements
Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Heavy lifting of 50 lbs or more may be required. The employee also shares the responsibility to perform routine housekeeping activities such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning and changing trash can liners.
