Overview

Operations Associate - Lakeside Shopping Center  Operations Associate's role is to create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. This is an early morning position and you will work with a team to perform functions prior to store opening.

• Customer Service: provide assistance to customers, answer questions, and help customers find what they need.
• Executes pricing and signing: adjust ticket prices and signage on merchandise as needed.
• Replenish and restock the store: pull and prepare merchandise to keep styles and sizes available on the sales floor.
• Receive and unload merchandise: work with teammates to unload trucks and organize backroom merchandise.
• Backroom standards: keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Omnichannel: contribute to Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, Shipping Online Orders, and Merchandise Receiving.
• Merchandise strategy: implement leadership plans for merchandise placement and ensure merchandising standards are maintained to deliver a great customer experience.
• Learning environment: absorb new information from peers or training materials on merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other processes.

• Results: solve problems and make decisions that drive sales, profit or customer service; work efficiently and effectively; inspire performance in yourself and others.
• Ownership: provide great customer service; build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships; take accountability for actions and outcomes.

• Work experience:
  
  1-2 years retail experience.

Pay Range USD 13.00/Hr – 16.25/Hr. If eligible, a competitive benefits package is offered including medical/dental/vision, term life insurance, paid vacation/holidays, and 401(k) with company match. All associates are eligible for an associate discount on JCPenney merchandise. Holidays pay details apply per eligibility.
