• Assist DVMs and credentialed veterinary technicians with appointments, pre‑operative preparations, and minor procedures.
• Assist in surgical procedures and set up for all diagnostic tests.
• Restrain animals safely and efficiently.
• Take accurate vitals, collect medical histories, and note any changes in patient condition.
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples such as fecal, urine, and ear cytology.
• Maintain medical equipment, including laboratory machines, surgical packs, and anesthesia machines.
• Communicate high‑quality client updates and address questions.

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling.
• Strong communication skills, good judgment, and ability to manage stressful situations in a team environment.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
