PACU Registered Nurse in Metairie, LA

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in a post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Ability to participate in call rotation 1-2 times per week, including weekends
• Commitment to holiday shifts as required
• Hospital-provided scrubs available for staff

• Monitor and care for patients awakening from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
• Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members regarding patient status and care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic system
• Adhere to hospital protocols and certification standards
