Are you an experienced Operating Room nurse who is looking to specialize in Heart and Vascular? Then East Jefferson General Hospital Heart & Vascular operating team is for you. We have 4 dedicated OR rooms for our H&V patients and performed over 985 cardiovascular surgeries so far this year. Our CVOR offers a robust orientation program for our new hires, and we are proud of our highly skilled surgeons and staff who provide excellent comprehensive state‑of‑the‑art care to every patient.

Our nurses are cross trained in both cardiac and vascular surgery, broadening their skills and knowledge to care for patients undergoing a wider range of conditions involving the heart and blood vessels. This provides a welcoming change of pace for our nurses.

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

• One (1) year of nursing experience.
