Responsibilities

The Client
Care Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the office runs smoothly and that all client shifts are scheduled appropriately. This person is often the first voice a potential client hears when calling about service, so he/she must have superb phone and communication skills. He/She has responsibility for properly handling all referrals and receiving them in an accurate and detailed manner. The Client Care Coordinator will manage activities around caregivers, including scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients, timecard processing and monitoring of telephony system as needed and other office coordination duties.

He/She is integrally involved in and will often manage recruiting, associate hiring, orientations and in services.

  • Answers telephone, takes inquiries or messages using good telephone technique.
  • Receives referrals and inquiries on the programs of this company and converts them into clients.
  • Interviews, screens and tests applicants.
  • Sets up orientation for potential caregivers, including creating packets with all necessary paperwork and documents and drug test documents. Develops, updates and maintains documents.
  • Schedules and coordinates day to day activities of caregivers.
  • Maintains documentation of associate work record in Clear Care and ensures current and complete personnel records for all homecare associates.
  • Maintains documentation of client records in Clear Care, including changes to the care program, caregiver preferences, comments on service and any incidents that affect RaH.
  • Communicates continually with associates and clients to evaluate service.
  • Responds promptly and courteously to all clients’ calls.
  • Performs on-call coordinator duties as needed.
  • Other general office and clerical functions.
  • Other duties assigned by the Operations Department.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent with two years of business experience.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and use of insured automobile.
