Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with eighteen locations across seven states. Our programs span detox, residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient services. • Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client’s challenges and needs
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to track client challenges and progress
• Escalate significant client concerns to Clinical Director
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling or related field required;
  Master’s degree preferred
• Valid state licensure/certification necessary to practice in this role (e.g., LPC, LCSW or CIT)
• Substance abuse experience required
• Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality

Avenues Extended Care is an intensive outpatient facility offering outpatient clinical drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. It provides a schedule of individual and group therapies, holistic arts, and medication-assisted treatment, with a space for clients to transition back into daily living. The facility features a client lounge, kitchen, and outdoor recreational areas, supporting clients in strengthening sobriety skills.
