Job Description — About the Job. You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must set the example, follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew.

• Manage shift operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Oversee staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, image and standards adherence.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain store cleanliness throughout the shift.
• Support marketing efforts and drive profitability.
• Ensure attendance, punctuality, and transportation logistics as required.

General duties for all store team members:

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.

Training

• Orientation and on-the-job training provided.

Communication Skills

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with speed and accuracy (may use calculator).
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to process orders.
• Eye–hand coordination for rapid, precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees to 90 degrees and above.
• Exposure to fumes and cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving parts.

• Sensing: talking and hearing on telephone; vision requirements; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot/cold surfaces.
• Temperaments: ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, analyze data, and make decisions.

• Standing, walking, sitting as required by task; lifting up to 50 pounds; carrying pizza-related items; reaching above 72 inches and frequent reaching in general; climbing stairs or ladders; frequent hand use for dough shaping and tool handling.

• Driving-specific duties: deliver product by car to customer door and deliver flyers/door hangers.
• Requires valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle.

• Carrying, driving, walking, and climbing as part of delivery duties; travel between store, vehicle and customer locations; potential for multiple deliveries per shift; navigation of stairs during deliveries.

• Exposure to varying weather when delivering, driving, and couponing.
