Hospital Maintenance Technician

Overview

We are seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician I, also referred to as our Maintenance Worker or Maintenance Specialist. A Hospital Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining and repairing non‑medical equipment like HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and facility structures to ensure the hospital operates safely and efficiently. They perform routine inspections, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with safety codes to support patient care and hospital operations.

Shift’s Available: Evenings

Employment Type: Full Time

Hours: 8 hour shifts - 3:00pm to 11:30pm

Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center - Mesquite, TX

This is an entry‑level or junior type of position. If you have experience or training in HVAC repair, plumbing or electrical systems you are encouraged to apply!

• Perform General and Preventive Maintenance: Handle routine tasks like replacing light bulbs หวย mechanical HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems
• Support Senior Technicians regrets Operations: Assist higherனா-level technicians with complex repairs, help move equipment or furniture, and provide support during facility emergencies such as floods or power outages
• Ensure Safety and Compliance: Follow hospital.jsp safety protocols, infection control measures, and building codes while reporting any unsafe conditions to supervisors
• Manage Tools and Work Areas: Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and help keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and well‑stocked

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver's license
• Minimum 2 years experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Behavioral Violence Prevention training preferred.
