Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration equipment, including reach-in and walk-in units, display cases, ice machines, salad tables, frozen beverage, and beer systems
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Handle refrigerants such as R-290, perform brazing and soldering
• Use hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, torches, and measuring equipment
• Operate a commercial vehicle safely and follow safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with customers, work independently, and handle pressure
• Work on-call nights and weekends as needed

Qualifications:

• EPA certification
• 2-3 years of refrigeration experience
• Registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration (TDLR)
• Industry certifications such as CFESA, NATE, preferred
• At least 18 years old
• Satisfactory background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Physical requirements:

• Lift up to 150 pounds regularly, 50-75 pounds frequently
• Climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp
• Tolerate environmental conditions like heat, cold, noise, fumes, dust
