Overview
We are seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN), sometimes referred to as a Telemetry RN or Tele RN. A Tele RN specializing in attending to patients in our telemetry units, including those needing cardiac monitoring. The Tele RN will monitor and interpret patients’ vital signs—heart rate, rhythm, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation—to gather real‑time data for informed decisions regarding patient care, ensuring early detection of abnormalities or changes in the patient’s condition.

Hours: 12‑hour – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Responsibilities- Assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, allowing for remote monitoring of heart rates and rhythms.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, cardiac monitoring results, diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Provide hands‑on care to patients—wound care, administering treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, and offering emotional support.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and treatments, and provide guidance on self‑care practices and lifestyle modifications in the telemetry unit.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions throughout the shift and address concerns to physicians promptly.
- Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and ongoing maintenance.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and ongoing maintenance.
- Previous acute‑care hospital experience.
- Ventilator management experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 (availability subject to eligibility and payout terms, details discussed during the interview process).
