12hr shifts - 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

• Assess patients upon arrival to determine the severity of their condition and prioritize care accordingly, following standardized triage protocols to quickly identify patients who require immediate attention due to life-threatening conditions.
• Provide direct care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries, which may involve administering medications, performing procedures such as wound care or splinting, monitoring vital signs, and managing pain.
• In cases of severe illness or trauma, assist with stabilizing patients and initiating life-saving interventions, which can include ACLS, PALS, and trauma care.
• Manage high-stress and rapidly changing situations, remaining calm, focused, and decisive while providing care to multiple patients simultaneously during busy shifts or mass casualty events.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and discharge instructions.

Deal-breakers:
You must have:

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Additional Qualifications (Plus):

• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; ER setting preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
