Salary Range: $87,455 - $109,318 /Year
Shift Type: Full-Time
Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

EMPLOYMENT BEGINS: School Year
PRIMARY PURPOSE- To assist the principal in leading the campus instructional program, including assessing, analyzing and developing strategies to improve teaching and learning, resulting in increased student outcomes.
Education/Certification:
- Master's Degree
- Administrator Certificate
- Exhibit excellent communication (verbal and written), public relation, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of change process, organizational development, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of teaching methodologies and ability to provide assistance and instructional help to teachers in need of assistance.
- Exhibit knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures of the MISD.
- Display excellent organizational and consensus building skills.
- Possess understanding of technology and its importance in the educational process.
- Successful experience in the field of public education.
- Successful experience as a classroom teacher.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Administration may find appropriate and acceptable.
- Lead the development, entry, and implementation of the campus master schedule
- Supervise the campus grading system
- Oversee the classroom walkthrough system and collection/analysis of data
- Coordinate graduation
- Manage and supervise campus learning recovery
- Supervise the campus counseling program
- Lead the college, career, and military readiness efforts
- Supervise Advanced Academics: AP/DC/On Ramps
- Oversee the Excellence in Teaching Incentive Program
- Conduct classroom observations, collect and analyze data, and provide feedback
- Ensure implementation of quality professional learning communities
- Support the development and implementation of quality professional learning
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community.
- Align decisions to campus and district policies and administrative guidelines.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the principal or district staff.
- Work in supervisory capacities assigned by the Principal
Mental Demands:
- Managing simultaneously occurring projects, communicating effectively with the public, and making effective decisions while maintaining emotional control.
- Frequent prolonged and irregular hours that require physical stamina in monitoring student conduct and activities.
