Special Education Teacher - Mesquite, TX

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in Resource and Inclusion, serving an elementary school caseload in Mesquite, TX. This contract position is set for the current school year, extending until May 22, 2026, with a work schedule of 40 hours per week.

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with special education needs in an elementary setting
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive learning environments
• Monitor and document student progress regularly
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and staff

• Valid Texas Special Education License EC-12 required
• Experience working with special education students within a school setting
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
