Part Time After School Educator -Mesquite

Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Our mission emphasizes inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind. We aim to build a team of mission-driven individuals who create safe, engaging experiences for children and bring affordable programs to as many students, families, and schools as possible.

We are hiring part-time Educators for our after-school staff.

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and support team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily
  
  Activities:
  
  prepare activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives; lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Lead by Example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals, and model positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communication: effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
• Works well in a team environment
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (required)
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed

• Must be 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
• Background clearance completion will be required
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (required)

• Starting Date:
  Immediate
• Pay Range: $15-$17 per hour (depending on years of experience)

• High school diploma or GED completed
• Coursework or training in child development or related field is a plus
• Strong communication skills with adults and children
• Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
• Familiarity with Google tools or willingness to learn
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements
• 18 years of age or older
