Business Development Manager – Grocery Channel

📍 United States | Remote (with travel)

At The Pickle Juice Company
, we’re scaling our presence in the grocery channel and looking for a Business Development Manager who lives for landing new accounts and turning opportunity into distribution.

This is a hunter role
—built for someone who enjoys prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and winning.

What You’ll Do
  • Secure new grocery accounts (regional & national)
  • Lead buyer presentations, new item sell-ins, and line reviews
  • Own the new business pipeline from prospecting to onboarding
  • Work closely with brokers and distributors to accelerate growth
  • Build strong buyer relationships rooted in credibility and execution
  • Represent the brand at buyer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
What Success Looks Like
  • New accounts opened and authorized
  • Expanded points of distribution and incremental revenue
  • A healthy, active pipeline with consistent wins
  • A reputation as someone who closes deals and brings solutions
  • 5+ years of CPG sales or business development experience
  • Proven track record of winning new grocery accounts
  • Direct experience selling into grocery retailers
  • Strong understanding of broker & distributor models
  • Confident leading buyer conversations and negotiations
  • Self-starter with a hunter mindset
  • Beverage or functional food experience is a plus
