The VP, Business Development will be responsible for spearheading the growth strategy by identifying and converting new business opportunities within institutional channels, such as investment banks, hedge funds, and asset managers—while owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You will build and expand relationships with senior investment professionals, drive recurring revenue through subscription and research-based product offerings, develop and execute strategic sales plans, and act as a brand ambassador for the firm’s investment research capabilities across global markets.
The ideal candidate will bring 5-10+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably within financial services or investment research, and have a strong track record of exceeding targets and growing client relationships. You should possess a deep understanding of institutional investor needs, excellent consultation-selling skills, outstanding communication and negotiation capabilities, and preferably hold a relevant professional designation.
