TABLE GAMES DEALER / FLOOR SUPERVISOR – VR – VARIED SHIFT
STARTING RATE: $12.00 + Tips = Dealer / $26.00 = Floor Supervisor
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 years old
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: State of Nevada Gaming Permit (and Alcohol Awareness Card for floor supervisor)
JOB SUMMARYDeal table games efficiently and professionally. Oversee and supervise multiple table games. Provide a positive and friendly interaction with customers.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Completed dealing school course from a reputable institution.
- Minimum 6 months experience in dealing Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and Carnival games (preferred but not required).
- Ability to interact well with guests and coworkers.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.
- Basic mathematical operations skill.
- Knowledge of Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Carnival games (for supervisor).
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Deal and control the pace of assigned games, handle wins and losses accurately.
- Perform mental math during gameplay.
- Create a positive interactive experience for the customer.
- Maintain financial integrity of each game through correct betting, payoffs, and chip exchanges.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Supervise, motivate, and coach dealers.
- Monitor for dishonest activity and take appropriate action.
- Schedule breaks and rotation of dealers.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and call security when necessary.
- Maintain an orderly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Represent casino management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Engage guests in conversation; offer information about restaurants, golf, spa, tournaments, etc.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance with gaming experience and House procedures.
- Offer to obtain a new card, track, or use guest’s name.
The work requires physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and occasional lifting of moderately heavy items. Above‑average agility and dexterity are desired.
WORK ENVIRONMENT24/7 work environment with varying shifts, weekends and holidays. Exposure to second‑hand smoke. Typical safety precautions applied. Adequate lighting, heating, and ventilation.
