Howwill you make an impact in this role?
As a Family Resource Center (FRC) Liaison
, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Arizona’s children and families through two key programs:
- The Community-Based Program at the Guadalupe Family Resource Center — offering classes and support to parents, caregivers, and teens. You’ll help with outreach and recruitment to connect families with Parenting Arizona’s resources.
- The Sensory Screening Program in North and South Phoenix — providing hearing and vision screenings to children ages 1-5, identifying sensory-related delays, and ensuring proper referrals and follow-ups.

Minimum Qualifications And CompetenciesEducation/Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Child Development, Family Studies, Social Work, or related area of study preferred OR
- Associate’s Degree and 2 years of related experience OR
- High School Diploma or GED and four years of related experience
- Candidates who do not meet Bachelor’s Degree criteria are subject to the approval of the funder and must agree to a professional development plan upon hire
- Experience in family support coordination or resource navigation services preferred
Other Requirements
- Active Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and ability to show proof of registration/insurance
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Level One Fingerprint clearance or ability to obtain fingerprint clearance within 60 days of employment
- Complete CPR and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire and maintain the certifications
- Able to identify individual/family strengths and planning/advocating around individual/family goals
- Knowledge and/or experience in cultural diversity, substance abuse, sexual abuse, family violence that may have an impact of child abuse and neglect on child development required
- Demonstrate interest and ability to advocate with and on behalf of low-income and diverse families required
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to promote clear understanding
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and cohesively with colleagues within the organization
- Ability to independently plan, organize, schedule, keep appropriate records, and develop effective programmatic communications
- Creative thinking, adaptable personality; a conviction about the capacity of people to grow and change
- Possess strong project coordination skills
- Including, but not limited to, managing multiple simultaneous events/groups/participants, event planning, and any requirement that meet the needs of the program/funder
- Bilingual in English and Spanish desirable (will consider other languages)
