At Carz R Us, we are currently seeking an experienced Transmission Rebuilder to join our team. This position focuses mainly on transmission work. If you take pride in your craft and want steady work in a supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, disassemble, rebuild, and reassemble automatic and/or manual transmissions
- Inspect and replace worn or damaged parts
- Perform transmission swaps
- Perform high‑quality work that meets industry and shop standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Proven experience rebuilding transmissions (minimum 5 years preferred)
- Strong understanding of domestic and/or import vehicles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have own tools (specialty tools provided by shop)
- Dependable and punctual
- Competitive pay (hourly or flat rate – based on experience)
